The Art House cafe, based in Eastbourne, East Sussex is a drop-in pottery painting cafe and creative venue set over two floors offering locally roasted coffees and artisan vegetarian and vegan breakfasts, lunches and treats. Whilst we are predominantly vegetarian we also have the option to add meat to your dish if preferred. We provide a broad range of fun and artistic activities, equipment and events for all ages including pottery painting, lino printing, glass fusing, pot throwing, children’s parties and much more. All designed to provide endless routes for you, your family and friends to find inspiration and enjoy time together.
Our menu changes daily as we bake and create our food each morning so whether you are looking to grab a coffee, food, or paint that masterpiece, pop in and be inspired….We look forward to seeing you soon.

COMMUNITY
Free children activities and dinner for families on school meals government benefit.
The Art House Café is delighted to offer free children’s creative sessions and dinners during the school holidays for families in receipt of the free school lunches for children 8-15 years olds.
The program includes cookery, art, clay, slime making, textiles, pottery, printing and dinner. Children can be booked on for a minimum of two weeks. COMMUNITY
Hot meals for the homeless.
The Art House Café offers support to local charities throughout the year including cooking hot meals to helping warm up the homeless and donating cake stock and chocolate treats. If you would like to discuss how you can also help out as a local business or as an individual, please reach out.

The Art House Creative Cafe – The Vegan & Veggie specialists
The Art House Café has decided to specialise in vegan and vegetarian dishes. This is about offering delicious, fresh healthy vegan and vegetarian dishes without any compromise on taste. If we can make the dish vegan and it tastes as good as the same vegetarian option, then we will and the same for gluten. We won’t be offering any fake meat products but we will still have a limited meat selection you can add to your meal if you prefer. If anything, the past year has taught us that health is wealth and we look forward to you joining us and sampling our vegan and vegetarian menu!
