Enjoy quality locally sourced food in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Catch up with old friends or meet new in a range of activities, events, workshops and parties.
The Art House also offers wide range of fun and creative art based activities in our studio for children which are age appropriate allowing the children to have fun, get creative and enjoy messy play. All day. Every day. Adults can join in too and have just as much fun or they may wish to enjoy a coffee and food whilst little one is entertained.

Kid’s activities, classes & events.
We provide a range of fun and unique activities for children – All designed to help your child build confidence and explore using different materials and techniques. Our classes and events provide a safe and inspiring environment for your child to get messy and create something they’re proud of.
Adult activities, classes & events.
The Art House hosts a broad range of social and fun artistic activities with the option of refreshments and added extras. Our courses and events are designed to provide social opportunities while learning new skills and creating something you’ll hopefully be proud of!
Seasonal activities & events.
The Art House loves to get involved with all the fun of each season – from Halloween pottery painting to Christmas wreath making, we aim to inspire you to create your own unique pieces or art to take home and enjoy. No skill required as we’ll have professionals to walk you through every step.
DAILY POTTERY PAINTING
Pottery painting is available every day the cafe is open. Simply book a table or walk in and we will get you set up with everything you need to create while you eat. Order your food and choose from a wide selection of pottery. Tables are available for 2hr slots.
Prices start from £8 for small tiles up to £45 for our largest items and all of our prices include glazing & firing in our kiln onsite. Your pottery will be ready around a week later when we send a text message or contact you through Facebook messenger to let you know it’s ready to collect.
We have hundreds of items to choose from including mugs, plates, figurines, themed pottery & events from Valentines , Easter, Halloween & Xmas. We also have lots of pottery available for children to paint including animals & money boxes.
Baby prints are very popular too – allowing you to capture your baby’s footprints forever on our ceramics.
Party and Private Hire.
The Art House offers a broad range of options for you to host that special party. A creative choice of venue for the discerning host. As well as children’s parties, Hen/Stag and Baby Showers, we can also cater for bespoke events – whether it’s a team building creative activity, an afternoon tea or a 5 course dinner party.

We also regularly host a variety of events for local schools, rainbows, brownies, guides, scouts and cubs to team building and corporate events. We can offer pottery painting, cook classes, fabric printing, potters wheel & clay and various art classes.
